6 months later....

Sooo.... 6 months later, and now we're freezing ourselves! It's 21 degrees outside and snow is in the forecast.


Work is going well - I received a really nice piece of feedback today from an innocent bystander at our Saturday Owl Prowl program. The email arrived as such, "

Dear Leslie Science Center,

I want to compliment you on your excellent presentation Saturday night on owls. All three parts of the program were excellent: the visits with captive owls, the prowl itself, and the aftermath. I was particularly impressed by the knowledge and bearing of the presenter of the captive owls (Jenny? Jessie?). What a fine job!

Uh, YES! I ROCK! Unfortunately you're all missing this, but I am doing the happy dance. Yay for Brownie points. Too bad I can't turn those brownie points into a raise... but perhaps I can turn them in for ... brownies?

On a different thought, does anyone know how to link friends? I don't think anyone sees this. I don't know how to link myself to people I know (which really isn't too many people...) and it'd be nice.
